In early 2020 we were invited to work with Kentucky Castle in Versailles and we couldn’t have been happier for the opportunity. Kentucky Castle is the only full scale castle in the United States and offers an entire host of amenities from lavish wedding bookings to a full service farm to table restaurant. It was this commitment to excellence and innate white glove service that their staff provide that led us to a mutual preferred vendorship agreement with them.
One of the first times we were able to create at the Kentucky Castle was for the Ms. Kentucky Tea Party. As we collected our gear and entered the gated grounds of the expansive castle we could help but fall in love with the dignified nature of the whole thing- the sharp lines, the carefully manicured lawns. The entire area is simply immaculate and you can tell that great thought and care is taken on a regular basis to maintain the venue.
We definitely encourage all of our couples to consider Kentucky Castle when planning their weddings because it has everything available on site. From bar service to multiple indoor and outdoor locations for the ceremony or reception, to lodging for out of town guests. The setting is ideal for the fine art photography and filmmaking that we do at Rebecca Ann Aesthetic- it provides an air of grace and form that elevates all experiences which happen within the venue.
When you’re looking at potential venues for your wedding, we highly recommend looking for something outside of the box. In the bluegrass area of the United States we see a lot of places pushing for the rustic barn-wedding vibe and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! But as two women who grew up in the rolling hills of western Kentucky and originated our business there, we can tell you that it’s worth giving your wedding day a scene that you haven’t already experienced one hundred times over.
