The answer to this question is that anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months is a typical and reasonable timeframe. Let’s break down what goes into that.

After the wedding, we first have to backup and securely store the raw images. This process alone can take a day or two. Next, we meticulously sift through hundreds, sometimes thousands of photos. We’re searching for the shots that best represent your day and the love you share. This selection process can take a week or so, depending on the number of images.
Further, if you happen to include film photography in your package, expect this section to take much longer. Film photography involves a several week long process where your film rolls are sent off site to be developed in a dark room.
The Art of Editing: Perfecting Your Photos
Editing is where the magic truly happens. Each selected photo is carefully retouched to enhance its beauty. We correct colors, adjust lighting, remove any distracting elements, and sometimes, perform more advanced edits. This process transforms good photos into stunning ones.

One thing we must add here- we are seeing a great deal of photographers and videographers listing their delivery times in the 6-9 month range. This is NOT acceptable. We might get some hate for this, but if you are running a realistic and professional business- 6 to 9 months is an absurd time frame.
