Welcome to another vendor spotlight! We have had the opportunity to work with some incredible people over the years, and when we meet someone with a flair for the type of work that we do- we love to include them in our mentions to couples.

It takes a lot to be a great vendor. It takes organization, personality, an eye for art and design and even a little bit of resilience when you take into account the whirlwind that the last several years have been in the event industry. We were lucky enough to work with Candice Ford in early 2021 at a wedding in Lexington, and we feel the need to sing her praises!

First of all, Candice is an incredible human being with a quick wit and a lovely sense of humor. Like most wedding days, there were some unexpected events (hello rain immediately following the ceremony!) and she handled each of these in perfect stride without ever once becoming flustered or worried. She moved around the space interacting with the couple and their guests and kept all vendors from us and our team all the way through the orchestra informed and up to speed.

Beyond her commitment to relationship building and kindness, we wanted to highlight Candice for her ability to bring a space together into a truly beautiful theme and her commitment to removing stress from her couples. With a long list of successful weddings under her belt Candice knows what she’s doing and gets it done without fuss. These are the types of vendors we always love to work with and we cannot recommend her enough.
